Ambiente Lavoro 2026 has dedicated a significant amount of space to on-the-job training. In a specially set-up area, companies were able to put their products to the test by running them through a risk simulation. Alongside the demonstration area, there was a dedicated space for review and debriefing. The test field explored in depth the risks that arise in various work activities, leading to the most common accidents and occupational diseases.

The test field featured two demonstration areas dedicated to workplace safety, technological innovation, and risk prevention in industrial and logistics environments.

• The “Handling & Cut-Resistant Safety” test area showcased the latest technologies for handling goods and ensuring safety when using cutting tools. The demonstrations featured anti-collision systems, smart sensors, and assistive devices for forklifts, as well as practical insights into the risks of using unsuitable tools, with a focus on correct operating techniques and protective equipment.
• The “Working at Height & Safety Barriers” test area offered realistic simulations focusing on working at height, confined spaces, and first aid procedures. Professional stuntmen and specialised technicians staged simulations of falls from height. Innovative technologies based on IoT sensors were also presented, enabling real-time monitoring of impacts, deformations, and structural issues. This highlighted how digitalisation can improve safety, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
