The 2026 edition placed a particular focus on safeguarding health in the workplace and the strategic value of training, in light of the new State-Regions Agreement 59/2025.

The inaugural conference delved into the role of training as a key driver for prevention, as well as the need for courses that are increasingly structured, consistent, and aligned with real-world work environments. This underscored the event’s commitment to fostering a culture of safety and prevention.

The event attracted 8,422 visitors and facilitated 185 B2B meetings. Over the three days, 356 conferences were held with 702 speakers taking part. Among the most popular new features of this edition were the NEXT Excellence Awards, which saw three awards presented for excellence in the sector.

The 35th edition of Ambiente Lavoro placed a particular focus on two themes: the latest generation of PPE and workplace wellbeing.

With the support of industry companies and leading research centres, we showcased the most innovative solutions in personal protective equipment. One of the strategic elements to prevent emerging and established risks.

There will also be a significant focus on tools and strategies to foster psychological balance and organisational well-being, with the aim of promoting workplaces as environments that support holistic health.

The 2024 edition focused particularly on the deep connection between health protection and environmental policies and, more generally, corporate sustainability.

The event dedicated one of its eight special initiatives to PPE and its fundamental role in terms of safety: SICUR LABOR. Other special initiatives included Safety Sensei, a round table discussion in which representatives from leading manufacturers will share best practices implemented within their companies.

The theme of well-being in the workplace is the focus of the Wellbeing Home, an area where visitors can attend a series of talks on psychological well-being as a fundamental element in ensuring genuine health and safety in the workplace.

In addition to an exhibition section dedicated to products and services for the prevention of occupational diseases and accidents, and alongside the traditional themes of Ambiente Lavoro, which as always will present a rich program consisting of special initiatives, workshops, and seminars for training and updating, and discussions between companies, experts, trade union representatives, professional associations, and leading training institutions, the 2023 edition of the event will pay particular attention to the connection between health protection in the workplace, environmental policies, and corporate sustainability.

Leading companies, experts, trade union representatives, professional associations, and training institutions will gather at the Bologna Exhibition Center to discuss strategic, historical, and emerging issues relating to work and safety, prevention, health, and the sustainability of the Italian production system, which continues to be severely affected by accidents, occupational diseases, and fatalities.
